Sheldon is the firm’s Certified Public Accountant. He has more than 40 years of experience in the accounting field.

Sheldon received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 1956 and a Master of Science & Taxation from Florida International University in 2001. He is a licensed certified public accountant in Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

For a number of years Sheldon had his own certified public accounting firm. Then in 1982 he joined one of the country’s largest accounting practices, Cleveland-based Laventhal & Horwath. He was a partner with Laventhal until 1990, when the firm disbanded. While with Laventhal, Sheldon co-authored a practice manual for the firm and taught courses to train other Laventhal accountants. He also taught accounting courses at a local college. Subsequent to being with Laventhal, Sheldon again opened his own firm.

Sheldon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He and his wife, Suezanne, live in Pompano Beach. They have four children and five grandchildren.
