Jim practices in the areas of estate planning, administration and taxation.
Jim received his Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University in 1990, his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1993, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida's Graduate Tax Program in 1995.
While at the University of Florida, Jim was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Thomas E. Penick, Jr. of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Florida), Probate Division.
Prior to starting his own law practice, Jim was associated with the law firm of Cummings & Lockwood, in its Naples, Florida office.
Jim was an associate editor of the Florida Will and Trust Forms Manual, a two-volume treatise for attorneys published by the Florida Bar.
He was on the Board of Directors of the Immokalee Foundation and served two terms as Secretary. He also served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. He is a member of the American, Florida, and Collier County Bar Associations.
Jim and his wife, Kerry, and their two sons, Nicholas and Lucas, live in Naples, Florida.
